Classic Football Shirts doubles dispatches during World Cup

Classic Football Shirts has reported its busiest period in 20 years after World Cup demand lifted dispatches by 101% in June and July compared with the same period in 2025.

The UK retailer used a new integration between Shipster’s multi-carrier software and a Logopak/Adpak Ecommerce Auto Bagger. Shipment and label data is sent to the equipment, which packs eligible orders and applies the shipping label automatically. Packing times for those orders fell from minutes to seconds.

The system handled 64% of all orders during the tournament, taking the company beyond its previous peak during Black Friday and Christmas trading. Warehouse productivity has more than tripled over CFS’s five-year partnership with Shipster, allowing staff to process hundreds more orders each day.

Demand was driven by supporters’ interest in historic teams, players and kits, as well as the retailer’s Away Days Mystery Box range. Between May and August, 23,830 boxes were ordered, including almost 10,000 England editions. Argentina was among the strongest national-team sellers, while Cape Verde benefited from an unexpected increase after its match with Spain.

Founded in 2006, Classic Football Shirts now serves customers in more than 130 countries. Its collection includes over one million authenticated shirts and memorabilia items. The World Cup performance demonstrates the commercial value of linking shipping data with automated packing when ecommerce demand rises sharply over a short period.
