Derby business park adds flexible EV charging capacity

Infinity Park in Derby has installed a flexible electric-vehicle charging network to serve its offices, workshops and commercial users. The project, delivered by Sevadis, combines ten 7.4 kW AC MaxiCharger units with two 50 kW dual-port DC fast chargers.

The mixed specification reflects different operating patterns on the site. Employees and visitors can use lower-power charging while vehicles remain parked for several hours, while the DC equipment provides a quicker option for users with tighter schedules.

Future expansion was built into the project. Charging ducting now extends across the car park and HGV bays, allowing further equipment to be added without reconstructing the underlying routes if electric-vehicle usage increases.

Operational management is provided through Monta cloud software. The platform enables Infinity Park to monitor charging activity, measure the energy supplied and support accurate billing. The MaxiCharger units also offer app control, tariff integration and a three-year warranty.

Sevadis has supplied and installed EV charging systems since 2016. The company said the installation was intended to provide a durable, straightforward and scalable service for the business park’s partners.
