Hörmann has launched the HTL3 dock leveller, positioning it as a flexible solution for loading-bay construction and retrofit programmes. The modular platform is independently tested to EN 1398 and is available in three versions.
The standard model has a compact format for new-build sites and direct replacements. The R version is intended for existing facilities, using a variable adaptor to match the leveller’s width and length to the dimensions of an installed pit. This can make replacement work more adaptable where the surrounding structure is retained.
Durability is another focus. The HTL3 uses high-strength steel and a redesigned, thicker telescopic lip. Hörmann says the lip offers approximately 50% higher fatigue resistance under peak loads. The leveller also has improved resistance to lane grooves, supporting consistent movement in heavily used loading zones.
Installation and after-sales work have been addressed through better access and a revised hydraulic layout. These changes are intended to simplify fitting and servicing, helping operators reduce maintenance time and limit disruption to dock operations.
The leveller’s compact transport profile may also reduce transport requirements and related costs. That provides a practical benefit for industrial developments where project budgets, site availability and sustainability targets must be considered together.
