Transporeon is broadening its platform with AI-enabled tools intended to automate routine transport activities across procurement, planning, execution, visibility and freight settlement.
Its enterprise AI agent, Trimble Arc Agent, is designed to connect workflows across the platform, email and back-office systems. Users can query or update transport information using natural language and trigger selected actions. Human approval remains part of workflows where confirmation is required, with controls intended to support explainable and auditable decisions.
New procurement functions include Market Insights Spot Rate on Demand, which covers standard and specialised equipment, and NextGen Freight Procurement for Road. The latter is aimed at full truckload and less-than-truckload tendering, using lane and pricing data to prepare draft RFQs and supporting more complex LTL bid structures. Enhanced Autonomous Procurement combines carrier quote collection with AI-generated offers.
A standalone Transport Planner targets high-volume planning, including milk runs and multiple capacity constraints. In execution, Autonomous Execution can follow up carriers and request missing documents. Maritime Intelligence adds signals from maritime, port, weather and geopolitical data to Ocean Visibility to help identify disruption risks earlier.
The platform expansion also addresses the physical and financial steps around transport. Supplier Collaboration enables supplier changes to flow into transport and yard plans before departure. Advanced Trailer Orchestration provides a live yard map and prioritised work queues, while eDelivery Note digitises delivery records. Freight Audit SelfService uses execution data to reconcile e-invoices and support AI-assisted discrepancy checks.
Most of the announced capabilities are already available, including Transport Planner, Transport Execution, Supplier Collaboration, Freight Audit SelfService, Autonomous Procurement, NextGen Freight Procurement for Road and Market Insights. Maritime Intelligence is available in an initial version, with further port and weather functions planned by the end of 2026. Advanced Trailer Orchestration and eDelivery Note are expected to roll out commercially through October.
