Polímeros y Derivados has deployed Mecalux Easy WMS at its finished-goods centre in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. The installation gives the nonwoven materials producer a digital method for tracking rolls and managing warehouse inventory.
The company serves automotive, cleaning, construction and plastic-tarpaulin customers. Its facility had previously relied on manual processes supported by ERP software. The project was launched to improve traceability, simplify warehouse work and support customer service as the business grows.

Easy WMS is integrated with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and handles multiple orders each day, including orders with up to 40 lines. Radio-frequency devices read Polímeros y Derivados’ two-dimensional labels and capture dimensions, lot numbers, serial numbers and customer codes. This information identifies pallets received from production more accurately.
The system was also aligned with the manufacturer’s internal quality-control and information-management procedures. Manual inventory routines based on colour coding have been replaced by a computerised process designed to scale with operations.
Easy WMS’s Supply Chain Analytics capability provides additional visibility into warehouse performance, supporting operational decisions. Further information is available on Mecalux’s WMS technology and Polímeros y Derivados.
