A.P. Moller Capital Agrees Euroports Majority Acquisition

A.P. Moller Capital has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Euroports Group through a separately managed fund vehicle. SFPIM and PMV will remain shareholders after completion, supporting the port operator’s longer-term development.

Euroports operates more than 50 deep-sea and inland terminals across 10 European countries and China. The company handles over 70 million tonnes of bulk, breakbulk and liquid bulk cargo each year, including fertilisers, agribulk, sugar, fruit, forest products, metals and minerals. It employs about 3,000 people.

The group also includes Manuport Logistics, an independent freight-forwarding business with operations in more than 20 countries. Manuport will keep its own brand and continue pursuing its growth strategy within the wider Euroports platform.

The parties intend to preserve Euroports’ management structure, governance arrangements and strategic direction. Their plans include expanding the company’s footprint, attracting new customers and volumes, and maintaining service standards and responsible long-term growth.

The transaction follows A.P. Moller Capital’s investment in Spanish port infrastructure and logistics company BERGÉ Logistics, adding to its European transport and logistics exposure. Completion remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory and other third-party approvals.
