Tennant is launching its T1660 Ride-On Scrubber across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, targeting companies that need consistent cleaning of large warehouse, manufacturing and logistics floors.
The battery-powered machine is designed around straightforward operation and reduced maintenance effort. Its wide cleaning path and large solution and recovery tanks are intended to keep operators cleaning for longer between refills and tank emptying. Simple controls may also reduce the time required to prepare new operators.
When fitted with a cylindrical scrub head and dual side sweep brushes, the T1660 provides a cleaning path of up to 1,320 mm. Tennant estimates productivity at as much as 8,400 m² per hour, although site layout, floor conditions and operating methods will determine actual output.
Performance features include adjustable scrub-head down pressure for different floor applications, while dual vacuum fans and a parabolic squeegee are designed to improve water recovery and leave less moisture behind.
Routine ownership is supported by yellow maintenance touchpoints, instructional labels and an accessible recovery tank. Customers can specify disk or cylindrical scrub heads, with options including detergent metering, an overhead guard, side sweep brushes and squeegee protection kits.
The operator station is designed for comfort and visibility and includes headlights and blue safety lights. A seat switch disables propulsion when the seat is unoccupied. Quieter battery operation makes the T1660 suitable for indoor industrial environments, giving businesses a practical way to improve cleaning throughput without introducing a complex autonomous system.
