Titan Brands cuts backorder exposure by 64%

Titan Brands has reduced potential weekly sales losses linked to backorders by 64%, from $1 million to $360,000, after integrating Infios order, warehouse and transport management.

The US direct-to-consumer and B2B retailer also lifted availability across its top 100 products from 60% to 95%. Warehouse pick rates rose 133%, forecast accuracy improved from 65% to 70%, and overall labour costs fell by 0.5% even as frontline warehouse pay doubled.

Based in Memphis, Titan Brands operates four US distribution centres and sells nearly 3,000 products through Titan Fitness, Titan Attachments and Ash & Ember Outdoors. Its products include heavy and irregular items that make fulfilment and transport planning more complex.

The company initially deployed Infios Order Management and Warehouse Management, then completed the setup with Transportation Management in January 2026. The systems now share data in real time: orders are consolidated, fulfilment is managed and parcel or less-than-truckload transport is rated and booked through connected workflows.

A warehouse label scan can trigger a live carrier-rate check and booking before an order leaves the building. Customer service teams can also access order status, distribution-centre activity and shipment tracking in one view. The result is earlier intervention when inventory or delivery issues emerge, rather than a response after the customer has been affected.

For retailers and industrial operators, the figures underline the commercial value of connecting execution systems. Better visibility can improve product availability and labour productivity while supporting more informed transport decisions across a multi-site network.
